So what system do you use? HMRC are saying that the software providers will provide the solutions and yes you will have to pay for it. As sage dealers we have negotiated a deal with Sage for the smaller cloud based options.

For larger businesses Sage have always provided the Sage Line 50 options but they are no longer available on what they call a perpetual licence – i.e. buying it ‘one off’. They have moved onto a subscription basis where the minimum subscription is £20 per month for the smallest package with one company one user. The more sophisticated the company requirements and the more users and companies you need, the more monthly subscription.
