Brian launched Stopfords in September 1994. He has over 30 years' experience in Accounting and now is a highly respected member of the Mansfield business community. He hopes to see the practice grow for many years to come!

Phil joined the team in March 2000 and became a Director in May 2007. Along with managing our Limited Company Team he also works closely with numerous clients assisting them with the growth of their own business.

After joining the Team in 2002, Glen was made Director of Stopfords in May 2007. He has over 20 years' experience as an Accountant which has helped with the growth and development of our Sole Trader and Partnership

Tax Expert Tricia is another of the original Stopfords team. She is one of the few Chartered Taxation Advisors in Mansfield, and therefore has extensive and invaluable knowledge.

Steven joined Stopfords in 2001 and immediately settled into the role of Tax Assistant. Working with Tricia he provides excellent support in the busy Tax department.

Sharon has over 35 years experience in tax including working for large Accountancy Practices in Nottingham and the Revenue, she has a wealth of knowledge that will benefit our clients.

Since June 2004 Mandy has worked in our Wages department. A crucial part of Mandy’s role is to make sure all client’s wages information is accurate and sent to them promptly.

Jane joined our Payroll department in July 2006. With 12 years of payroll experience with such organisations as Centre Parcs she has a wealth of Payroll knowledge and is enjoying the diversity of clients at Stopfords.

With a banking background, Graham joined us in 1999 and now helps a large number of our clients with raising finance. Graham is also creator and nurturer of our Flying Start programme which is designed to help new start-up businesses.

Richard spent much of his career in commercial banking before retiring some five years ago. Together with Brian they set up the consulting business to help clients develop their businesses. The work involves all commercial aspects, H.R, Health and Safety, Marketing and Management Information Systems together with business sales and acquisitions.

Louise has been with Stopfords since November 2003, she is a qualified accountant with over 10 years experience. Louise manages the Limited Company team and specialises in audit. She excels at maintaining close working relationships with her Limited Company clients.

Rebecca is a trainee Accountant working for both Limited and Sole Trader/Partnership Departments. Rebecca is currently working towards her AAT qualification.

Working in practice since 2006 Martin joined Stopfords as an Accountant in the Limited Company department. In Summer 2008 he gained his ACCA Qualification.

Ruth has been part of the Admin Team since 1997. She works on a part-time basis generally assisting throughout the office and dealing with special projects.

Since June 2000 Amanda has been central figure in our Admin Department. She has worked her way up to Head of Reception and always carries out her role in a welcoming and friendly manner.

Always willing to help, Sam has become a great team member. Joining us in 2005 she is another friendly voice on the end of the phone to help clients and direct calls. Sam also provides support for Graham.

Pat is one of the original Stopfords team and has had over 20 years' experience in Accounting. Her focus at present is on Sage Training but she also assists in the two Accounting Departments.

With over seven years' experience in Bookkeeping, Gemma joined our ever-growing bookkeeping department in early 2006.
